Jenny and Stuart receive award!

We are pleased to announce that Jenny and Stuart have won the 2021 - 2022 Pet Blood Bank Ambassador Award, for their services in promoting the Pet Blood Bank.
It was Jenny and Stuart who introduced the Pet Blood Bank, and what they do to Highgate Vets in Kendal. The vets now kindly offer the services of some of their staff, and the use of their Beezon Road Clinic for the sessions.
Greyhounds make great blood donors because their blood is ‘special’, and can be used to help all breeds of dogs. At every opportunity Jenny encourages people who adopt dogs from RGSL to register them with the Pet Blood Bank. Thor who belongs to Jenny and Stuart has donated an amazing 19 times, each pint donated can potentially save upto 4 dogs lives! If only these dogs knew they had King Thors blood in them!

The Ambassador award is in recognition of all they do to support the Pet Blood Bank. Well done you two.
