Walks are for sighthounds only, and generally held on the 2nd Sunday each month starting at 11:00 hours.  Please be aware that some attending can be nervous and not used to meeting other breeds of dogs. If you have a nervous dog please ensure it’s muzzled, and please keep all dogs on the lead at all times. There are many people behind the scenes making these walks a success - it’s a massive team effort, so come and join us - everyone welcome.

Meeting location is Arnside Pier (Pier Lane, Arnside, Carnforth LA5 0HA) so we can get our group photo before we set off.
Plenty of free parking available in the large car park on Station Road at the end of the viaduct (LA5 0HF) where the RGSL van will be parked, or on-street parking along the Promenade.

Please arrive for 10:45 for 11:00 departure to allow time for getting to the meeting point., and there will be a £1 a hound collection at the start of the walk - all proceeds to Retired Greyhounds South Lakes. Weather permitting we will serving refreshments (tea/coffee/cake) in the viaduct carpark at the end of the walk.

There will be an assortment of goodies for sale from the RGSL van including our 2025 calendar, Christmas Raffle Tickets, Birthday / Greeting cards, outdoor coats, fleeces and rain macs in sizes 18" to 32", snoods, martingale collars, leads, human clothing , the rummage boxes and much, much more.
