SUNDAY 11th JULY 2021 - This month there will be 2 walks

WALK 1 -
with Emily and Joy around Witherslack and Halecat starting at the entrance to the Latterbarrow Nature Reserve at 11:00 hours. Parking is available near the Reserve entrance and beyond. If you are in this walk Emily will contact you.
WALK 2 -
with Clive and Linda, meeting at the Mill Side crossroads just off the A590 where parking is available. The walk will start at 11:00 hours and form a ‘lolly pop’ shape. Going through the village then in a big circle through the woods. Those wanting a short walk can do the ‘stick’ and back. Those people not contacted by Emily will be on walk 2 along with anyone wishing to join the walk at the last moment. If you are unsure of where to meet come to Beech Hill House for 10.30 am, and we can direct you to the meeting point at Mill Side.

After both walks people can meet if they wish at the Derby Arms or at Beech Hill House. Bags of Gain20 along with other items for sale will be available at Beech Hill House. Please bring your flasks with you, with it being our first walk and split into two groups, along with any cakes, biscuits or goodies to help fill the hungry tummies at the end of it.

Watching the numbers only applies to the July walk. From August onwards (coronavirus willing) it will be just turn up and enjoy the day. With us now being an independent charity, if anyone wishes to become an RGSL volunteer to help plan, supervise or simply help with future walks and events, please bring a passport size head and shoulders photo with you and complete an RGSL volunteer form from Beech Hill House.

Looking forward to good weather and an enjoyable day.
