Missy (Fane Adeekay) arrived here on Monday 21st September after living 2 years in a home with another greyhound, a terrier and two cats. She was born in January 2014 and weighs about 26 kg. She’s had a veterinary check-up and she’s fit and well. She’s having a dental next week and because her inoculations had lapsed they have been started again. When she arrived she always looked hungry and tried stealing everything she saw, including half a packet of Weetabix and helping herself to a bag of food in the shoffice where it’s kept. She’d managed to get in there without anyone knowing! The first 3 days she was a handful, but once she’d had a few extra large meals and she was beginning to feel full all the stealing stopped. She now waits nicely for her food and is no longer constantly on the hunt for food. She’s a lovely girl and is beginning to play with us all. We have a family coming to see her tomorrow with a view to adopting her.
