June - Arnside Walk

SUNDAY 12th JUNE 2022 - ARNSIDE

Meeting location is Arnside Pier (Pier Lane, Arnside, Carnforth LA5 0HA) so we can get our group photo before we set off. Plenty of free parking available in the large carpark on Station Road at the end of the viaduct. (LA5 0HF) or on street parking along the Promenade.

Please arrive for 10:45 for 11:00 departure to allow time for getting to the meeting point. All hounds to be on leads during the walk, dog waste responsible disposed of and any reactive hounds to please wear a muzzle - this is a popular walking spot.

£1 a hound collection at the start of the walk - all proceeds to Retired Greyhounds South Lakes. Weather permitting we will serving refreshments (tea/coffee/cake) in the viaduct carpark at the end of the walk and can thoroughly recommend the Arnside Chip Shop if you need a hot lunch.

The RGSL van will have a selection of merchandise for sale including, long and short snoods, 100% waterproof outdoor coats, double fleece bedding coats, summer shower coats, dog sweaters, martingale collars, leads and Anne Welding’s unique, individually hand made Birthday, blank and other greeting cards.
