SUNDAY 15th JANUARY 2023 - Change of venue due to flooding at Coniston - now BOWNESS ON WINDERMERE

Please arrive for 10:45 for 11:00 start - Setting off from Braithwaite Fold Car Park - LA23 3HE

Free parking available on Glebe Road

Short walk of approximately 1.2 miles towards Ferry Nab and Cockshott Point and back past the marina.

The RGSL van will be in Braithwaite Car Park.
No catering at this walk - tea/coffee will resume at the February walk in Heysham Village.

 Normal rules apply for the group walks - this is a walk for sighthounds only and please be aware that some hounds attending can be nervous and not used to meeting other breeds of dogs. If you have  a nervous hound please ensure it’s muzzled and please keep all hounds on the lead at all times. Dog waste to be bagged and responsibly disposed of. 

£1 a hound collection at the start of the walk - all proceeds to Retired Greyhounds South Lakes.

We will be bringing the RGSL van with a selection of merchandise for sale including: 2023 greyhound calendars. long and short snoods, 100% waterproof outdoor coats, double fleece bedding coats, dog sweaters, winter warmers, martingale collars, leads and Anne Welding’s unique, individually hand made Birthday cards, blank and other greeting cards.
