Helen - a volunteer

Helen who acts as my ‘second’ when we’re away on holiday suggested we have a page on the web site with pictures of some volunteers so when their names are mentioned people can see who they are. As she suggested it she’s going to be the first one on the page I’m building. Here she is with Max and our Star with Madrid and our Lena in the background.
As mentioned Helen acts as my second when I’m away so deals with all the emergency dogs arriving and finding them short-term foster homes till we get back. When we are here she helps assess how the dogs are with other breeds of dogs by taking them along Grange-over-Sands promenade or to Cartmel Race Course where there are always lots of dogs about. In fact she does a bit of everything.
