greyhound-data.com
For many years, I think back to the time in 2004 when Stuart and I started homing greyhounds I’ve been adding additional details and photos to some of the dogs we’ve homed. Over time as we homed more and more each year, then we started the b&b my spare time became less so, although I kept doing it, it started to fall behind. At the time I could only add 3 photos and a small sentence about when they were homed. We have over 25,000 photos of the dogs and last year with having made the b&b into a self-catering apartment, and the lock downs I had more time to continue with what I call my passion and hobby. This page shows details of Annie and these I can update using the information from the records we have here at the charity. I aim to put 4 pictures of Annie (Petite Annie) on her pedigree page. For consistency and professionalism I only put pictures here of photos of her racing, running, posing outside and nice head shots.
Greyhound-data has now included a website for every dog on the site and this is what I and Helen Smith are busy working on. I was granted permission many years ago to update the site and now Helen has been granted permission to add photos. If she contacts you it’s because she either wants you to send her photos or she’s asking permission to include a photograph you’ve added to our Facebook group with a person on, and we need permission from that person, or a child’s parent to use the photo. This she is receiving in the form of an email so we have written permission. We are not just doing this for the greyhounds we’ve homed, but any greyhound featured on our Facebook Group page because we feel it is very important to record each dog not just as a racer, but as a loving companion. It’s been hard work me doing this on my own over the years and I’m really excited that Helen asked if she could help me. We hope you enjoy watching the work we do. Thank you.
