There will be a main group walk of approx 3 miles, but shorter walks back through the dunes are available for those who want a shorter walk. The terrain is mostly flat on sandy / gravel paths.

£1 a hound collection at the start of the walk - all proceeds to Retired Greyhounds South Lakes. Weather permitting we will serving refreshments (tea/coffee/cake) from the van in the car park at the end of the walk.

The RGSL van will be present with a variety of goods for sale including the new 2024 Greyhound Calendar and refreshments will be available, weather permitting.

Normal rules apply for the group walks - this is a walk for sighthounds only and please be aware that some hounds attending can be nervous and not used to meeting other breeds of dogs. If you have  a nervous hound please ensure it’s muzzled and please keep all hounds on the lead at all times. Dog waste to be bagged and responsibly disposed of.
