Crystal

Crystal has been rather unlucky in that she’s been homed twice, both times to nice homes, but each time she’s struggled to settle. She was fine while at RGSL, and fine again when she was returned after being homed the first time. After being homed the second time we now realise Crystal doesn’t like being an only dog. After discussions with her owners she came back on the 17th June 2023, walked into the Beech Hill House with tail wagging, and went off to explore the garden with the other greyhounds. Zak was here because his owner wanted a companion for him so he’d come to meet the dogs here. Crystal wandered around the garden next to him, and from their body language they were bonding. After going for a walk together Crystal went with Zak and his family to their home where, with a companion Crystal will be much happier. We’ve received some photos of the two of them together and we feel this time it will be right for her. The couple who brought Crystal back were greeted with tail wags from Sonica who is a much more confident dog, and they reserved her.
