13th November Walk

The November 2022 monthly walk will set off at 11.00 am from Hawkshead car park, Main Street, Hawkshead - Postcode: LA22 0NT

The group walk will be approximately 2 km (1.2 miles).  Circular route behind Black Beck Lodge and the terrain is mostly flat on sandy / gravel paths.  

This is a Lake District National Park (LDNP) car park with automatic number plate recognition cameras. Please ensure you have bought a ticket to cover the duration of your visit. £3 for 2 hours, £4.20 for 3 hours and £5.40 for 4 hours. Alternative parking is available at Hawkshead Primary School - £3 for 2 hours or £5 for all day. Payable with cash via honest box.  There are toilets on site and these are run by LDNP with a 50p entrance fee payable by contactless card or cash. 

 We will be bringing the RGSL van and there will be a stall selling goodies such as Christmas cards, greetings cards, 2023 greyhound calendars, waterproof coats, fleece coats, snoods, winter warmers collars and greyhound treats. 

 Normal rules apply for the group walks - this is a walk for sighthounds only and please be aware that some hounds attending can be nervous and not used to meeting other breeds of dogs. If you have  a nervous hound please ensure it’s muzzled and please keep all hounds on the lead at all times. Dog waste to be bagged and responsibly disposed of.
